TYPERCEPTION LLC PRICING AND BOOKING INFORMATION

The prices displayed on this page are starting rates for the basic scope of each service. They are not guaranteed flat rates or all-inclusive project totals.

Every production is different. The final price will be determined after Typerception LLC reviews the project requirements, filming time, locations, cameras, equipment, crew, travel, insurance requirements, creative preparation, editing, deliverables, usage, and turnaround time.

The starting price only covers the time, service, and deliverables specifically stated in the individual service description. No client will be charged for additional work without receiving and approving an updated quote.

WHAT THE STARTING RATE GENERALLY COVERS

Unless a service description states otherwise, the starting rate is based on:

• One client or production

• One Typerception camera operator

• One camera

• One confirmed location

• The consecutive production time shown in the service description

• Standard camera support, lighting, or audio selected by Typerception for the basic production

• Standard setup and equipment breakdown

• The specific deliverables listed in the service description

• Standard turnaround time

Setup, equipment breakdown, and location movement take place within the scheduled production time unless otherwise stated in the approved quote.

A starting rate does not automatically include two cameras, multiple camera operators, every piece of equipment owned by Typerception, extensive lighting, advanced audio, creative development, editing, raw footage, or multiple finished deliverables.

 

PROJECT REVIEW AND FINAL QUOTE

A project questionnaire or consultation may be required before a final quote can be prepared.

Final pricing may be affected by:

• Total filming or photography time

• Number of locations

• Travel distance and transportation requirements

• Number of cameras

• Number of camera operators

• Additional production crew

• Type and amount of equipment needed

• Lighting and audio requirements

• Pre-production and creative development

• Number and length of finished deliverables

• Editing complexity

• Revision requirements

• Music, talent, stock assets and licensing

• Distribution and commercial usage

• Turnaround time

• Special production or insurance requirements

The final approved quote and signed agreement will control the project scope. Information displayed on the website does not replace the project agreement.

 

ONE-CAMERA AND TWO-CAMERA PRODUCTIONS

Unless a service specifically says otherwise, the starting price includes one camera and one camera operator.

A two-camera production requires an additional charge for the second camera, additional equipment, media preparation, setup, footage organization, synchronization, color matching, and multicamera editing when applicable.

When one operator is hired for a two-camera production, the primary camera will be actively operated while the second camera may be placed in a locked or preset position.

Two actively operated cameras require a second camera operator. A second operator, additional crew members, and their travel or insurance requirements will be quoted separately.

The equipment displayed on the Typerception website represents the company’s production capabilities. Booking a service does not automatically include every camera, lens, light, microphone, monitor, teleprompter, or support system owned by Typerception.

TRAVEL AND EQUIPMENT TRANSPORTATION

Travel and transportation are reviewed for every on-location project and may be added to the displayed starting rate.

Travel-related costs may include:

• Round-trip travel from Typerception’s Brooklyn base

• Time required to transport production equipment

• Loading and unloading equipment

• Rideshare, car service, public transportation, or vehicle expenses

• Parking

• Tolls

• Mileage

• Additional baggage or shipping charges

• Travel between production locations

• Travel outside New York City

• Airfare, lodging and overnight expenses when required

The client must provide the complete and accurate production address before the final quote is approved.

A change in location may change the final price. Travel between multiple locations may count toward the reserved production time and may also require an additional transportation charge.

Parking, tolls, airfare, lodging, permits, venue fees, and other direct travel expenses are not included in the website starting price unless specifically stated in writing.

 

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

We review insurance requirements based on the type, size, location, and risk level of each project.

Certain productions, venues or clients may require:

• General liability insurance

• Camera and equipment insurance

• Rented-equipment insurance

• Workers’ compensation coverage

• Drone or aerial-production coverage

• Special-event or short-term production insurance

• A certificate of insurance

• Additional-insured status

• Waivers of subrogation

• Higher policy limits

• Project-specific insurance endorsements

Any special policy, certificate, additional-insured request, increased coverage limit, rented-equipment coverage or project-specific insurance requirement may be added to the final quote.

Insurance charges required for a production are not optional once the location, venue, client, or approved production plan requires that coverage.

Typerception will not publicly represent that a particular type of coverage is included unless that coverage is active and applicable to the project.

 

PRE-PRODUCTION AND CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

The starting price may include basic communication and coordination. More extensive creative or production planning may require an additional charge.

Additional pre-production services may include:

• Creative consultations

• Concept development

• Treatments

• Scriptwriting

• Shot lists

• Storyboards

• AI previsualization

• Production schedules

• Call sheets

• Location scouting

• Casting

• Talent coordination

• Rehearsals

• Wardrobe or prop coordination

• Permit coordination

• Production budgeting

• Client or venue meetings

The approved quote will explain which pre-production services are included.

 

FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY TIME

The reserved production time begins at the scheduled start time.

Clients, talent, locations, and required materials should be ready at the confirmed time. Delays caused by the client, talent, venue, or location may reduce available filming or photography time.

Additional production time is subject to Typerception’s availability and will be billed as overtime.

Changing locations, wardrobe, sets, or production setups may take place during the reserved production time unless the agreement provides separate time for those changes.

POST-PRODUCTION AND EDITING

Editing is only included when it is specifically listed in the service description or approved quote.

Depending on the project, post-production may include:

• Transferring and organizing footage

• Backing up production files

• Selecting the strongest takes

• Video editing

• Photo selection

• Color correction

• Cinematic color grading

• Audio cleanup

• Audio mixing

• Music placement

• Titles and lower thirds

• Captions

• Motion graphics

• Visual effects

• AI-assisted enhancements

• Formatting for social media

• Final export and delivery

The amount of editing required depends on the recorded material, project length, number of cameras, number of deliverables, and complexity of the approved concept.

Additional videos, cutdowns, alternate versions, aspect ratios, captions, thumbnails, or exports are not automatically included unless listed in the approved quote.

 

REVISIONS

Projects priced below $500 include one complimentary revision round unless otherwise stated.

Projects priced at $500 or more include two complimentary revision rounds unless otherwise stated.

A revision round consists of one organized list of reasonable changes submitted at the same time and within the approved project direction.

The following are not considered standard revisions:

• Changing the approved concept

• Replacing the approved music after editing has started

• Requesting an entirely different edit

• Adding footage or materials that were not originally provided

• Changing the script, story, or creative direction

• Adding new scenes, graphics, or deliverables

• Reopening a project after final approval

• Making changes requested by a new decision-maker who was not part of the original approval process

Additional revision rounds are $125 each unless a different rate is stated in the agreement. Extensive changes may require a separate editing quote.

 

TURNAROUND AND DELIVERY

Standard turnaround will be stated in the service description or final quote.

The delivery period begins after:

• Production has been completed

• All required client materials have been received

• The client has provided any necessary selections or approvals

• All required payments have been made according to the agreement

Rush, same-day, next-day or expedited delivery requires approval and an additional charge.

Final files will not be released until the project balance and all approved additional charges have been paid in full.

RAW FOOTAGE, SOURCE FILES AND PROJECT FILES

Raw footage, unedited photographs, source files, prompts, AI workflows, editable timelines and project files are not included unless specifically stated in writing.

Clients may request these materials for an additional fee. Availability is not guaranteed after the project’s stated storage period.

Purchasing raw footage or project files does not automatically transfer Typerception’s copyright, creative methods, software licenses, third-party assets or ownership of the original production.

COPYRIGHT AND USAGE

Typerception LLC retains ownership and copyright of its original footage, photographs, edits and other creative work unless a written agreement specifically transfers those rights.

After the project is paid in full, the client receives the usage rights stated in the agreement.

Commercial advertising, paid campaigns, broadcast use, film distribution, streaming, resale, sublicensing and extended usage may require a separate license or additional fee.

Typerception may request permission to display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media and promotional materials. Any confidentiality or nondisclosure requirements must be discussed before production.

 

AI-GENERATED AND AI-ASSISTED SERVICES

AI-generated and AI-assisted work requires a separate scope based on:

• Project length

• Number of scenes

• Number of generation attempts

• Character and visual consistency

• Product or brand accuracy

• Image, video and audio requirements

• Premium generation credits

• Editing and visual cleanup

• Voice, music and asset licensing

• Number of final formats

• Revisions and turnaround

Exact duplication of a generated image, character, person, product, or previous generation cannot always be guaranteed.

Clients must own or have permission to use any photographs, footage, logos, voices, faces, music or other materials they provide.

Typerception will not knowingly create an unauthorized clone or impersonation of another person’s face, voice or likeness. Written permission may be required.

AI prompts, workflows, source files and generation histories are not included unless specifically stated in the agreement.

DRONE AND AERIAL PRODUCTION

Drone production is not automatically included in a standard video package.

Drone availability depends on:

• The production location

• Applicable laws and restrictions

• Permit requirements

• Weather

• Airspace restrictions

• Safety conditions

• Pilot requirements

• Insurance requirements

• Property or venue permission

Aerial footage cannot be guaranteed until the location and production requirements have been reviewed. Permit fees, certified pilot fees, special insurance, and location charges are additional when required.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate project information

• Confirming the correct date, time and address

• Arranging access to the location

• Obtaining permission to film or photograph at the location

• Informing Typerception of venue rules

• Making sure talent and participants are available

• Securing necessary participant releases when required

• Providing logos, scripts, music, products, and other materials on time

• Identifying the person authorized to approve the project

• Reviewing and approving the final scope before production

• Paying any client-approved additional charges

Typerception is not responsible for time lost because of incorrect information, unavailable locations, late participants, missing permissions or client-controlled delays.

 

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

A submitted booking request does not automatically reserve a date.

A production date is officially secured only after:

• The project scope has been approved

• The final quote has been accepted

• The agreement has been signed

• The required 50% non-refundable booking retainer has been paid

The remaining balance is due no later than seven days before production unless the agreement states otherwise.

Projects booked within seven days of production may require full payment at the time of booking.

Changes requested after the quote is approved may affect the price, production schedule, and delivery date.

Cancellation, postponement and rescheduling terms will be explained in the project agreement.

Depending on the project, additional charges may apply for:

• Travel and equipment transportation

• Parking and tolls

• Additional locations

• Travel between locations

• Additional filming or photography time

• Overtime

• A second camera

• A second camera operator

• Photographers, assistants, or additional crew

• Advanced lighting and audio equipment

• Teleprompter services

• Drone production

• Studio or venue rental

• Permits and location fees

• Special insurance requirements

• Talent, actors, models or voiceover artists

• Props, wardrobe and set materials

• Scriptwriting and creative development

• Editing and post-production

• Color grading and audio mixing

• Motion graphics and visual effects

• AI generation and premium credits

• Music and stock-asset licensing

• Additional photographs or videos

• Alternate versions and aspect ratios

• Additional revisions

• Raw footage and project files

• External drives, shipping or file-transfer expenses

• Rush or same-day delivery

• Expanded commercial, broadcast or distribution rights

Please submit the production questionnaire with as much information as possible.

Include:

• Type of project

• Preferred date and time

• Complete location address

• Number of locations

• Estimated production time

• Number of cameras requested

• Number of people involved

• Examples or references

• Required final deliverables

• Editing requirements

• Intended use of the finished content

• Requested turnaround time

• Available budget range

After the information is reviewed, Typerception LLC will provide a written quote explaining the approved services, deliverables, additional costs, and payment schedule.
